How to reach there: After arriving in Morocco. Begin your travels along the Kasbah route, passing through the Atlas Mountains of Morocco. Continue towards the Sahara Desert, passing through Berber villages and stopping for a quick lunch on the balcony at La Kasbah Restaurant.
From the bed of the Moroccan mountains, make your way towards the Merzouga sand dunes, share a meal with the nomads you encounter along the way, and spend the night in the small village of Tisserdimine. Travel south, passing flocks of flamingos perched on a nearby lake and explore the crystal-filled mines as they glisten in the sun.
Say "goodbye" to your camel and "hello" to your sandboard. It's now time to ride the golden sands of the Sahara. After a day of extreme sandboarding, head back to the village of Merzouga and enjoy a traditional meal with the locals.
